So...for those of you who don't know, and were confused about the displeasure I expressed in my previous post, I am trying to become a photographer.

I've only had a good camera for 3 months, but it's bringing me so much joy! First and foremost because of the images it allows me to capture of my sweet baby girl who is growing up so fast. But also because it gives me a creative outlet, and because taking pictures has become something I really enjoy doing and feel I'm good at. And I'm pretty obsessed, lol. I usually spend nearly an hour every day practicing taking pictures, and 2-3 hours editing. Plus if I read articles on photography and tutorials if I have any other free time.

Mike is being SOO supportive, too! Watching Raemi in the evenings if I need some extra time to work on my photos. Taking me out to parks and stuff to take pictures, even in the scorching heat, and not ever complaining. He even found me a new location for taking pics he wants to take me to try out this weekend!

I really hope that in the future I am able to actually take pictures for other people. I don't know that I'll ever be as good as an actual professional photographer, but if I could get good pictures of families that they would enjoy, I'd feel really happy!
